Ethical Leadership and Ethical Voice: The Mediating Mechanisms of Value Internalization and Integrity Identity

Drawing upon self-concept and social-information processing perspectives, we theorize test a model linking ethical leadership with voice via value internalization integrity identity. In two field studies ( N = 972 765, respectively) of police officers staff in the United Kingdom an online three-wave study 448), investigate mediating role identity relationship between voice. Study 1 uses time-lagged data demonstrates to be positively related followers’ internalization, which turn enhances their The serial mediation effect employees’ is also significant. Further support for our hypotheses provided using multisource (Study 2) cross-lagged design 3). Theoretical practical implications are discussed.
